A "Healthy" Appetite

Gerber starts us out right. As infants, we are trained to love veggies, to smack our toothless gums on pureed garden goodness and enjoy it. Lynnea sure did. I pray that it continues to be an exciting food group for her, unlike her siblings whose favorite word is "candy." Yes, my children eat pretty healthy foods but they also love their sugar-laden fruit snacks and sips of soda. I'm hoping that, with the last one, the love of vegetables will stay true and constant (come on, let me dream, won't you?)

Here is my darling daughter before her expedition into tasting the lovely green concoction. All smiles. Yum!! She actually likes it. As a matter of fact, between bites (because mommy isn't fast enough), she starts sucking her bib like I've starved her for the past 5 months. If you were within a few houses of mine, you'd hear it for sure.
After we were done shoveling it in, we had to rid ourselves of the offensive shirt, now covered in a green slime that simply could not be worn for the rest of the day. That was the part she didn't like so much...
And, of course, I must add in a picture of my son and his newly grown mustache. Little did we know that, at 2 1/2, he had the maturity to grow a fu-man-chu mustache but the fudgesicle made him grow up fast. He was quite proud of his achievement. After this, daddy gave him a bath quickly due to the fact that the "mustache" had spread to other parts of the body.
