Great Weekend

This weekend was great! I got to see family and host a shower for a beautiful friend of mine. My Aunt Nancy and Uncle Gary were in town for the weekend and they were so gracious to stop by our house to see our family. Not only did they stop by, they brought Subway with them! It was yummy and the company was so nice. Aunt Nancy loved holding the baby. I loved her holding the baby. Lynnea loved being held. It was wonderful all around. Lynnea was so comfortable she fell asleep in Nancy's arms.

They came bearing gifts for the kiddos. Mikayla got a new Polly Pocket and Tyler got some new Cars cars.
Uncle Gary got in on the playtime. The kids loved climbing all over him and had so much fun tickling him and jumping all over him. Thanks, Uncle Gary, for the entertainment!
Cara and I threw a shower for our friend, Jennifer, today. It went so well and it was a great success! Jennifer got so many cute gifts. Her daughter, London, will be well outfitted until she's 1 at least. Everyone was so generous and it was fun to see her enjoying the last few weeks of her pregnancy. She's due in only a few weeks! Decorating was fun. We did the pink theme with butterflies, thanks to Emily! She let me borrow the decor.

The table looked really cute with butterflies on tulle behind it and a bunny on top of it. She's doing her nursery in rabbits so I had to put some around the house.
The dessert was so good. Cara made booties out of white chocolate and then we put a scoop of ice cream inside with a chocolate L (for London) on top of that. Sooo good. This picture was for Jaysen who wanted to see more food pictures. It's not that great of a picture but it gets the point across.

And this picture is just a shot of life at the Lee house while I'm on the phone. Enough said...

Perfectly beautiful! You and Cara are very crafty people! What an accomplishment for you... you have a baby, 2 older kids and still you created a beautiful party!

The top part of your post almost reads like Nancy was sitting over your shoulder suggesting which pictures to put in. Reads almost like a resume for Grandparenting. =)

"Look at us! Wouldn't it be GREAT if our only married child had some kids?!" *hint-hint, wink-wink*

Thanks for sharing, I enjoy keeping up with you guys even if it is only digitally.
