Easter Egg Hunt?

OK, you could hardly call it a "hunt" but we had a great Easter Egg drop-and-find in MOPS last week. It was fun to watch all of the kids run to find 12 eggs, hurriedly open each and every one and avoid egg-catastrophes as baskets fell, eggs were horded, and candy was inhaled. Quite fun, let me tell you! =) It's a great tradition in MOPS and I know my kids had a wonderful time, especially playing with all of their little friends.

Lynnea showing me her dozen eggs. How cute are those animal ones? I had never seen that kind before. So unique!
Once they got a little candy in their systems, they were all smiles. Surprisingly, they stayed still long enough for me to get a picture.
Here are some great friends, Aly and Elise, as they grabbed some candy for themselves- oh, I mean, as they checked their kid's eggs to make sure the candy was appropriate for 2 year olds...
The 3 and 4 year olds waiting for the "go" signal.
Success!
Thankfully, there wasn't a lot of candy this year but plenty of fun stickers, erasers, fruit snacks and other goodies.
